My peepers are cheeping!

I just walked into the kitchen - my incubator is on the counter - the chicks are cheeping - oh my gosh - that means peepers

I'm so very excited - these are pure Light Brahmas - my very favorite breed!

I'm hatching in the egg carton this time too!

Just got back from RKO - it's peep days there - they must have had 10 water tanks full of little peepers. The drawback is that unless you really really know your breeds, they are just tanks full of straight run, pullets, bantams and Cornish X - minimum purchase enforced of 25 chicks. No pictures to identify them so it was really hard to get excited about them.

I got my chick starter and some other chicken stuff and when I got home, checked the eggers again and there are 4 eggs pipped and chirping.

It's gonna be a fun night!
