ok, i am new here, and i need advice, i have 6 chickens, two of which i got at the same time as my duck, so quackers and my two rhode island reds chicks have shared the same brooder, they are now 4 weeks old, and inseperable! any suggestions, they actually cry for each other!

They can cohabitate with minimal problems unless the duck is a drake. Drakes mating chicken hens can be a recipe for injury or death.

i don't know what sex it is ...

By the time it is mature, you will be able to tell. Ducks have a loud 'quack', drakes have a whispery, hoarse sort of voice plus they develop a 'drake curl' in their tail feathers.
Thanks, right now quackers has a loww voice, except when the chicks and the duck get seperated it has a shrill whistle like sound!
