My pekin duck is having foot problems!!!

Oh no! My Pekin duck too. I live in a desert climate with a kiddy pool for them. I typed in feet bleeding and found some posts including yours, which suggest neosporin. My duck's foot isn't infected or swollen or hot but it's definitely bleeding. Not tons so I'm sure it'll stop but wonder what causes it? I'll put stuff on it and maybe throw hay down or something, they're in a huge chicken run with dirt floor.
