My Pekin ducks don't eat flies !!!???

Thanks for the responses, everyone. Hopefully they'll catch on ... eventually?

They are fenced right now, but our free-range chickens do come visit them sometimes. Perhaps they'll see the chickens catching bugs? One can hope!

My pekins don’t go after flies either. My rouens will occasionally but they mostly go for worms and any crawling bugs that make it into the pen

I kill the flies, and feed my dux the carcass of said flies.

Yeah, mine eat them after I've sat on the porch swatting them all day!
