my pens i built all today. i think i did a pretty dang good job!!!!!!!

took only 2 years of industrial arts so far in school, and i built this all today.

i know the middle 4 boards in the 3rd picture look really crooked. they are very little. the pictures makes them look worse then they really are. i dont know what to do to fix this. i did it all today!!!! ALL OF IT! im so happy with myselF!!!!!

Haha, good job! So far I've helped build my giant chicken coop and I'm now working on chicken tractors. I'm taking woodworks next year, so hopefully it will improve my skills and then I can use all the tools without my mom looking at me every two seconds.

Awesome job though! I can't wait to see it when it's done, keep us updated!

It's coming along nice. What are you putting in them? I started out with a few pens..... now I have barns! Just for chickens... hehe.... be careful, it's addictive.

Yeah, I used a air stapler for all my pens... soooooooooo much easier than horseshoe nails. Oh, you were asking why the center beams are a little shy of straight- on your pics the top header beam is flush with the sides and leg supports, but the bottom support beam is nailed outside the supports, that's all that was pushing them off level.. I hate doing roofs, as I am very short...... and can't reach anything... hehe and wire... well I have scares all over my arms from chicken wire and hardware cloth, looks like I fought off a wild critter or something.....
