Thanks for the response. I was thinking a little to dark and a lil more dark coloring than I have seen on new hampshire reds(but im far from seasoned), we also got 2 partridge plymouth rocks in this order and they are darker than these.

What did you order? My order last year I got an extra australorp (i had ordered one). They may have thrown an extra of something you ordered.

Thanks for the thought but it isnt like anything else I received, so we can take Blue splash marans, cukoo marans, easter egger, partridge rock, white and equisitor sp*leghorn, barred rock and Golden buff/ whatever you want to call them. They should all be hens as well.
