I think I'd be begging all my neighbors to join the backyard chicken movement. I'd probably have to make coops for everyone, but dang, that is a LOT of extras. I'd be terrified. haha.

I ordered 25 layers from MPC and was sent 27

Split the order with someone and kept seven, one of which is definitely a rooster

I don't know if they send extras on smaller orders, but they did with 25! All of them were alive and happy after two days in the mail.

Meyer didn't send extras with my order but that's how I asked it. I'm glad they complied even if one died in transport. I wouldn't know what to do with that many chicks.
