My Pet Chicken hatchery (MPC)

Hi everyone! I am trying to decide on a hatchery to buy my chickens from this Spring. I just want some healthy, happy, pet quality laying hens. I can get 25, but 20 is prefferable. What has you experience been with MPC? Thanks!

They get their chicks thru either Meyer or Welp....can't remember which....they just charge you more for the privilage of being able to order a small number of chicks.

As someone else already mentioned, they are kind of a middle man. But my experience with them was very positive...small order of 5 chicks.

I have heard that they get their chicks from Meyer (?). Unlike most other hatcheries though, I haven't heard any horror stories about tons of dead and deformed chicks. Do they have an extra fee for an order of 20? I think they are a good choice. I would love to hear more of peoples' experiences.

i dont see y it matters if they drop ship or not as long as u get wat your spose to get your good

I ordered 5 chicks from MPC. 4 brown egg layers and 1 rare. The rare one turned out to be a Exchequer Leghorn which died later on that week due to bodily deformities and refusal to eat or drink. Overall I think they are nice people just not sure about ordering anything other than your standard/popular breeds.
