Hopefully I will be getting Lavender Orpington, Speckled Sussex, Salmon Favorelle, & Black Australorp. I say Hopefully because my latest tracking info says they are still in Ohio and I'm an anxious and nervous mama hen!:cd
Don't believe that tracking number, it runs a day or so behind.

Patience is a virtue that I lack but why are my chicks still sitting in OH for over 24 hours?!?! WAHHHHH

Super cute and smart idea!

Thank you. It was just down in the barn going to waste since it's a "death trap" since the side comes down.

I figured might was well do something useful with it. I'll put the babies in it sometime when my girls are out roaming so they can meet safely.

please pay no mind to your tracking number, it's not accurate. I'm in Wisconsin, it takes 3-4 days for my chicks to reach me from Ohio. So depending on where you are I would expect them tomorrow or the next day.

Very nice!

And yeah, the tracking is way off. We get a notification that says they have arrived at he PO when in reality we already have them in the brooder.

@Jujubara -- we are in a similar region! How long did it take to get your chicks? Mine are born tomorrow, but haven't been able to figure out if I should expect them Thursday or Friday? And if it will be in the morning or evening post? Hope everyone's chickies are doing well

Or like in my case where the tracking said they were delivered but they were still actually 6 hours away sitting on the loading platform in Casper Wyoming when it was 17 degrees below zero. Tracking doesn't mean much, I guess.
