I took this last night. Kia would not leave us alone. I wasn’t paying attention
and he had his nose under Dolly sleeping. LOL Silly cat.

Dolly still wasn’t doing well this morning so I brought her to work with me.
She died as I was holding her. I haven’t told my son yet.
So sorry Tika75 :(((

I'm getting worried about my Speckled Sussex, Sookie. Just to recap, my 4 chicks shipped Monday and I got them Wednesday morning. They have been active, drinking, eating, pooping like they should, until this morning. When I turned on the light to say good morning they slowly woke up and began their antics with their eating, drinking, pooping except for Sookie. All she wants to do is sleep and stay under the heat plate. Is this normal? What should I do? She has been like this for 2 hours now, should I be worried like I am? Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

That's how my larger SS was. Perky and chipper at first and then got weird and just kind of stood around a lot. She didn't make it either. I had six and let my four kids each pick one. I'm left with 2 and one of my kids lost hers too. But we're getting a reshipment and I doubled up! Looking forward to June 20th and no more cold snaps!

sometimes it's what I call, for lack of a better term, shipping stress. The best thing I have found is to have Nutridrench on hand as soon as they arrive and make sure they get it according to the directions for their first three days or streight up right away if they show signs of slipping. It's what pulled my 2 frozen stiff survivors thru (see my earlier posts).
