"My Pet Makes Me Breakfast" Coffee Mugs?

I would be in for at least 4 if:

They are at least 16oz - normal size mugs are useless to me. So I might buy 1, maybe one a year.... But not for drinking out of, and maybe I wouldn't if money were tight.
They are not acrylic or other plastic
They are a nice color or design
They don't cost more than my Starbucks or Girl Scout mugs. about $10-13 each I collect these...

I would also collect an annual BYC mug if they were different each year, and perhaps had pics of real chicken breeds on them.... You could have a contest each year for the Mug pic. Over time, you could cover a lot of different breeds. That would be fun.

What a neat idea! Why not sets of good China dishes consisting of plate, cup, saucer, and bowl; maybe a different chicken on each of the four pieces. Change the chicken breed(s) each year. Within eight years, collectors could have as many as 32 breeds illustrated.

I agree with this idea. I really like the collector mugs with pics idea. Cafe Press does them. At least in the regular sized coffee cup anyway.

Having the year on them along with the breed would be fabulous. I don't think it would be fair to restrict it to just chickens though.

I guess I'm not apposed to the travel mug in plastic. There are some nice metal lined ones out there, but I'm not sure they do photos on them. Logo's they will. I have 2 styles. One is copper on the outside and the other is plastic on the outside. I don't know how elaborate you want to go with variety. I suppose part of the issue might be whether or not you have to physically handle an inventory. I'm not positive, but I think Cafe Press does the shipping.

Doing a photo contest for it would be another fun thing for members to participate in.

Is this idea snowballing or what?

They do have a travel mug, too! Prices are higher than what I thought. Here's the link to the mugs page.

I found this one. Seems like with a few bells and whistles it still could sell for under $15. And I like it because it is big. You can always pour less in if you don't want it full, but it is hard to pour more.

Up to 3 color printing on a cream ceramic mug - They also do exact color inks if needed for the logo.

Yes, no need to stop gazing at chicken, ducks and ..... in order to go in and refill. And plenty of room to wrap both hands around to keep them warm on cool days.
