It's not that I hate BOs, it's just that I wouldn't choose them over other colors or breeds. I really hope I haven't been offensive. It's almost a bit more of a joke.

oh well some people on there hate the orps

you don't hurt my feelings but buff orps are sweet, nice egg layers and to me they look shiny

Some people do really dislike them. If you look at the first post, you'll see some reasons why. I think it's like how some people dislike, say, Naked Necks or Silkies. I don't really understand it too well, but it also may be more like a joke.

Definitely seems like buff Orpingtons can vary greatly. Mine always seemed to be the meanest to new chicks, but I've only had one, so I get that others have different experiences.
