By stupid, I don’t mean ignorant, I mean people who are uneducated and not willing to learn. Like someone who thinks they know everything, and not someone who simply doesn’t know things. I help people with problems all the time, as it’s what people do. I do, however, treat rude people with rudeness because they get what they are giving.
By 'free' I mean that everyone has access to it, at all times. That avoids the issue of people dying because they do not want to pay for an ambulance. Yeah, America isn't that fun...I"m lucky to live in a spot where people are mostly good...the people in the rich town near me decided that their money will prevent them getting covid, so I am very surprised that we haven't seen a spike in cases from them.
Exactly, that’s how I see it. If someone is rude to you, you have the right to be rude back. If someone’s been only the nicest to you, you should treat them the same.
I do have a question there: if person A is being rude to person B, does that validate person B being mean to person A if we're following that rule? Or would it mean that person B is asking for rude treatment now? Not trying to undermine or put down that rule, just wondering.
It means, you should try to be respectful, but if you are being treated disrespectfully you have the right to treat them the same way. You can’t be mean to everyone then expect only kindness and love back, that’s not how the world works.
