As promised in my introduction, here is the start of my photo thread
Y'all are going to beg me to take a break from photographing chickens and ducks real soon LOL
Up first is my "Blue Pen." Posting these photos makes my breath catch in my throat, as I tragically lost the roo on October 5th
He was my absolute favourite bird. Ugh, guys. It hurts my heart...
Introducing -
~ Theo (Opal Legbar roo) Goodbye my sweet boy
~ Tora (Opal Legbar hen)
~ Misty (Blue Partridge Brahma pullet, lighter)
~ Dawn (Blue Partridge Brahma pullet, darker)
~ Sterling (Silverudds Blue pullet)
The two newest additions to the "Blue Pen" are yet unnamed/unsexed Silkies...
"The Big Birds"...
~ Ellis (Giant roo of some mix, see his thread!)
~ Amybyrd (Blue/tan Icelandic hen)
~ Dizzy (partridge? Icelandic hen)
We have a pen of Silkies that are white (with one black/brown interloper haha), lovingly watched over by a Silkie x roo...
~ Panic Button (aka PB)
My "Bluebirds"... Old English Bantam Gamebirds, suspect pullets
~ Atlantic
~ Pacific
My husband's "girls," EE labeled as "Americauna pullets"...
~ Hoot
~ Holler
Our three yet unnamed RIR pullets...
Our two rescued roos (see their breed ID thread!)
~ A.M. (light barred colour)
~ P.M. (Australorp-ish)
Whew, that's all for now! I have... 9 - I think? -bantams to band and photograph tomorrow, and I will add them then!
