My poor babies!

The best thing is to make sure the little ones have a place to hide, it takes awhile to integrate several flocks together, I have a few separate places to lock up the bullies until I'm ready to open the coup and let everyone out, then they tend to stay in their own group. The smaller ones have a place only they can get into to eat, then they are all off for the day.
Fortunately, the bullies are also too heavy and too lazy to fly to the top where the little ones roost, but the roosters all get locked up separately at night.

YEAH! Tonight the little girls finally went into the coop on their own. They were actually hunkered down in the pine shavings right between the big girls! SOOOOO relieved!
