MY POOR CHICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! upadate ****update on all!!!!!

It sounds like you are doing everything fine. Yes, poop is a good sign. I would just continue to monitor as long as the others seem fine. Keep giving her drinks..that's most important right now. Some chicks are just weak when they start out and take longer to come around or just don't make it. There are not always answers. Please keep us posted on your little one. I hope she pulls thru ok.

Poor little fella. It breaks my heart when they are like that. I will keep him in my thoughts.
Just keep him warm. Keep his body temp up. He will not eat or drink if he is cold. How old is this peep? Grrr *Sigh*
Also make sure you keep a few other "None bullies" in with him. Don't keep him alone. Or if you do, put him in an incubator and wrap a thermal sock or piece of fleece around him for warmth. Peeps always huddle together when they get cold. And huddle togeher for sompany.

I hope he makes it. I will keep my feathered fingers crossed.

If you have a petstore close with a good section for cage birds look there for a supplement specifically for sick birds... there is a special concentrated powder that you can mix water with to make a "formula" for baby parrots and such ...add either of those to its chick starter .
POLYVISOL is a childrens liquid A-B-D vitamin supplement that you can get at almost any drugstore, agway or walmart. Three drops in beak once a day for a week then taper off.

do you have the chicks in a brooder?
what is the temp?
does the chick stay near the heat light?
or away from it?

please describe the color of the droppings of this chick and the others.

check his eyes..do they look alert, bright, clear?
or do they look wet or sticky or swollen?

how old did you say he was?

sometimes a little sugar in the water perks them up..unless they are sick.
do as the others suggested ..
and get some vitamins and things they suggested.

those Polyvisol vitamins can be bought at any pharmacy..
unless you have some chick vitamins.
