my poor chicken got caught by a fox after 26 days on a nest !

after 26 days clocking on her eggs my poor wee light sussex hen was caught by the fix, fer eggs exploded under her and she basically ran away up the field, she use to be a lovely plump chicken but was terrible frail, anyway... when i went to lock them all up she was no where to be found AND next morn i found her feathers all over the field .... dam foxes
