My poor chickens :'(

I am so sorry for your loss of your pets. It really hurts when they get killed by other animals. We had experienced a similar situation not too long ago, and it was devastating. People here do understand the pain of losing their babies..which they are to us. They are not just chickens, they are loved pets to us.

Some where in a coop that was fenced in, and there were some that didn't stay in the fence because they'd fly over it. Whatever it was got both the free rangers and the ones in the coop.

It just boils me over with rage every time something kills one of my chickens. The anger is directed at myself (for forgetting to close up the chicken house at night) though, not the predator which is just doing what it's made to do. Sorry to hear about you losing your favorite, my favorite little feather leg hen was killed by a weasel a couple of weeks ago. Gotta remember to close that chicken house door as soon as it gets dark every night.
