my poor little ash has fowl pox and its getting worse =/

I've been putting iodine on his comb every day and vitamins/electrolytes in the water as a couple people on here suggested but it seems to be getting worse. the orange bumps are spreading and getting bigger and turning black, swelling then popping open and bleeding.does it get worse before it gets better? is there anything else i can do for him? he doesn't seem in pain but it just looks awful. so far its only him that's got it.

I'm wondering if the iodine is too strong and making the spots bleed. Have you tried to get his appetite going and making sure he is eating well? Make a scrambled egg, cool it and add a tablespoon of cottage cheese. Looks gross but contains a lot of protein. Give a teaspoon twice a day. Purchase plain yogurt and mix a little with some cheerios. They like this treat and it will get good bacteria into his system.

What are you feeding him? Is he separate from the other birds so he can rest and recover? Try putting him in a confy box with an old towel to lay on. make sure he has water nad food at all times.
