My Poor Pet Turkey Has Messed Up Legs For Some Reason, This Seems to Be A Common Problem, Help!!!

I read a little about the duck food we buy, it is 19% protein, I figured since wild turkeys get all their protein from free-ranging, he could make up for lost protein.

His legs are kinda bad for just lacking protein, they twist and turn at the hip it seems. I feel bad for him. Do you think it goes deeper than lack of protein?

Wild turkeys are also different than domestic turkeys.

It could be a genetic issue
