My golden comet laid her first egg yesterday. She is about 3 and a half months old! She is pretty swollen and she can barely poop. I’m worried she’s not going to make it. Can someone help me?

She seems to be eating and her poop seems a little watery apart from that she doesn’t have any other symptomsSounds like she might be egg bound but it could be an infection of her oviduct. Does she have other symptoms? Is she eating? When she does poop what does it look like? Put on a glove and insert a finger in her vent. See if you can feel an egg.
There is no bleeding she is not dripping water and she doesn’t have a prolapsed vent, we were not prepared for her to lay an egg so her egg cracked on the ground we haven’t checked her weight and you can only tell her vent is red because when she tries to poop the vent showsMore information, please. What part is swollen? Can you take a photo and post it so we can see for ourselves?
How much does she weigh? Take a photo of the egg, as well, and post it. Please lay a ruler next to it for scale.
Is there any bleeding? Is her vent prolapsed? Is there any watery discharge dripping from her vent?
And I will try to check her vent closer upShe seems to be eating and her poop seems a little watery apart from that she doesn’t have any other symptoms
Can you take a picture of it so we can determine if what you're describing is normal. Also I'd like to see the swelling you're talking about.
