My poor Sheldon

My peacock, Sheldon is acting strange. He was fine yesterday when I fed him. Today when I went out to feed him, he was laying down at a angle ( he usually sits on his perch) and when I got close to him, he started to walk off like he was drunk. He was stumbling and seemed disoriented. He seemed to be having problems balancing. What is wrong with my baby? He is only 6 yrs old
