I know she will eventually forgive me, its just after her being so sick I want to love on her more now. Now Stormy is making out in the petting dept. She is taking it in for the both of them. My SO told me again today he thought Petunia was a gonner. I am so happy I still have both of them, can ya tell!!!!!!!

My other PBP Stormy help me clean up some pepsi that got spilled. Stormy was sucking the stuff up like a vacuum cleaner. This happened yesterday and ever since then everytime Stormy sees a pepsi bottle she squeals like she hasn't eaten in a week. She now has Petunia begging for pepsi.

What is so bad about the deal is I have poured them both some pepsi to drink. I know, I know I don't need to be doing this but it seems to have become a habit over night.

My SO told me I was crazy if I thought he
would be buying pepsi for a couple of pigs.

WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!!!!!! Uh oh

These cute creatures carry on so bad I feel like I have to give them a swallow. WHAT AM I GONNA DO NOW??????????????????????????

OMG

Hey, ANYTHING is a better treat for them right now that ranch dressing!

Petunia and Stormy both snuggled in my lap last night while I watched a movie. Now both of them in the recliner with me is a tight fit but I didn't mind since I almost lost my sweet sweet Petunia. I beleive she has forgiven me for the injections I have had to give her.

Now with Stomy her whole attitude has changed like over night. Ever since the glass of pepsi got spilled and she slurped it up, OMG she wants pepsi. She started out this morning stomping through the house and squealing so loud and wouldn't stop until I caved and gave her a sip of pepsi. Petunia will also drink some but she does not put on the show that Stormy does. This whole day I have had to deal with Stormy pitch fits until she gets a sip of pepsi.

I tried to give her some crystal light and I swear it sounded like she laughed at me. That did not go over very well at all. I now have a PBP addicted to pepsi.

Some may say just don't give it to her but if you have ever heard a pig pitch a fit and squeal you will know why I gave it to her. Any ideas how to break this habit? We are watching there weight so they don't become obese like some PBPs do. My SO suggested diet pepsi.

He thinks hes funny but he has heard the fit she pitches. Its funny guys but I see a major problem I gotta fix now.

So happy Petunia is back to her cute self. Stormy is cracking me up with that pepsi.

Maybe you need to have a pseudo bottle/can of pepsi, when she screams now.. have it filled with water, give her the water every time.. maybe she will get bored with it.

This thing with Stormy and the pepsi isn't even funny anymore. Well it is kind of funny. She has this fit she pitches when she wants pepsi. She starts her begging act first, then when she doesn't get her way she stomps her feet and then she starts trembling all over. By that time the squealing is rather loud. Then if she doesn't get her way by then she jumps up onto my coffee table where the first pepsi had gotton spilled and runs a muck. That is when I cave and give her some. I tried diet pepsi but noooooo that wouldn't do.

Today is the first day I haven't caved and gave her any. So far so good. I must say it has been an interesting week.

I'm having to grin and bare it through Stormys weaning of the pepsi rampage she has been going through. Its been a rough couple of days. She has had some pepsi but that is drinks that she has spilled her self trying to feed her addiction.

We now have to hide our drinks from her. If she sees you with a drink it wll set her off. I have never seen anything like it.

I have decided to change Stormys name to Bounty, like in the quicker picker upper. Bounty the quicker slurpier upper.
lau.gif
I swear she is like a vacuum sucking the pepsi up.

Man, the day I got her and named her how did I know? I have always said she was like a storm coming through the house and she was only 7 days old back then.

My sweet, sweet Petunia is still doing good and could take or leave pepsi. Now that is a good pig.

I would be willing to bet if I put a bowl of food and a bowl of pepsi down my Stormy would go for the pepsi first.

Bounty! I thought my dogs were bad with the begging but Stormy... er Bounty takes the cake.... or should I say pepsi! I hope she comes off that soda kick soon.... if you ever thought about giving it up yourself, now would be the time! LOL

Good luck and thanks for the updates, this terrifying thread has turned into a fun one ( well for me anyway) I'm so glad everything has turned out okay.

Thanks Nancy, I am happy your have enjoyed it. This was a terrifying thread. I cant beleive how uneducated I was about pigs getting sick. Thank god for this site or I would have went crazy the night Petunia got sick not knowing what to do. Now that I know what meds to use if it happens again I will be able to get them from my vet.

My vet doesn't treat pigs but will sell me meds that I need. He has been good to me that way for years now. The only problem I have with him is he will not make a emergency call during the night. The E.R. wanted me to bring $645.00 and the vet that actually treated Petunia the next morning was still $100.00. My vet will sell me the meds with no office visit bill.

I don't know what we would do if we lost Petunia. I can't beleive how different in personalities both my girls are. Petunia always looks like she is smiling at you and never gets in a hurry. Stormy, AKA Bounty ALWAYS looks like she is into mischief and ready to wreck havick. She woops all my dogs but all I can say is the dogs started it.
