Oh, dear! I have barn envy!! I loooooove old buildings, particularly old farm/ranch buildings. MissP, your poultry barn is beautiful!! The stories I'm sure it could tell!

Mother's Day weekend, we tore down a 35+ year old barn that was in extreme disrepair. Kinda broke my heart to see it come down. I had quite a family history.

MissPrissy...your poultry barn looks very much like one on my home place. My folks haven't had chickens for several years....now it has my dad's "treasures" in it!!

Katy, we bought this place from a junk dealer. That barn had 10 years of 'treasures' and animal poop in it. It took us a long time to clean 3 rooms before getting our livestock.

I love your barn. When we moved out here there was a huge barn and coop area but we lost it to a fire when we someone lit the desert one night. Luckily there were no animals in it. If I hadn't lost it though,, who knows what might be in it now!

Your coop looks alot like my great aunts from back in the days, brings back some memories. What you are calling feed boxes, were nest boxes in her coop and she used just regular feeders.....................

My nest boxes are under the roosts. They slide in and out.
