Linus and his sisters Victoria and Beatrice. There is also Leo, who is quite aggressive, so heis isolated and will be culled today. This morning I stood in surprise as I watched Victoria (Vicky) start crowing. Does anybody have experience with how these pullets turn out? I have a 10 month old Cockerel who has been mating all of the hens, (I have 17 laying hens) so I don't know what triggered this, other than putting Leo into isolation. Any feedback or advice?

They are Golden comet offspring, so pretty much anybody's guess. Linus has faint barring but he's the only one that it came through on.

I have a buddy that has a hen that does this. She crows, doesn't lay and acts like a rooster. Who knows! Well, I'm sure someone does..😉

I think you might have a "Victor" instead of "Victoria."

Can you get a closer picture of that bird's comb? I think that might be a pea comb, which would explain why it is not as large as the single comb that Linus has.
