here is a shot of my EE pullet, or so I thought, she has no comb or wattle, but is crowing....I know this is something that happens, but how common is it?
she is about 9 weeks old...the other 2 EE's I have are also crowing, I thought maybe she was mimiking them

Wendy'sChicksRock :

my little blue cochin hen, who has been laying eggs for a long time now started to crow one day... she will do it from time to time.. go figure !!!!

I hope so, I have been wanting EE's for some time, even ordered them from a country store, low and behold, the hatchery never sent them! I had to pick others, and still managed to find a few locally, 2 ended up being roos, for certain, and the other is this one...she is not even similar to the others, so I hope she is just weird!

those neck feathers say rooster to me. my ameracaunas are just now developing their combs, but the roos combs are not that much larger than the hens
