My pullet thinks she is a peacock

I don't see any really obvious saddle feathers on any of those, but I like Pele's idea! Sit for a spell and watch what goes on. You may catch someone in the act.

I really think they are all pullets. I sit outside and let the big girls free range every night for about 2 hours while my little one plays. I have never seen any behaviors that say roo on any of them. I have given away plenty of roos so I'm pretty sure I can spot one. This really has me stumped! Out of my 22 red pullets, one of them turned out to be a roo, but he went to the same home as my BO roo over a month ago.

I really didn't see any males in any of your pictures. Maybe your former rooster was just "da man", LOL.

Two eggs that I got today, still looking fertile to me.




Miss Snooty Broody spent the night in a dog kennel. I let her back in the coop today and she went right for the nest box. This one is the favorite of most of my girls and at least she is willing to share it.
