My pullet wont open her eyes. Has watery eyes and beak. Any ideas?

Thanks Sequel, It tore me up knowing that Jess was going to be cut open.
:hugs I’m so sorry! You did the right thing though, for the rest of your flock and it helps the rest of us learn too. So think of it as her helping her own flock or future flocks you may have later. I know it is painful for you right now, especially after fighting so hard for as long as you did! You are an awesome chicken keeper!

Sorry to hear you bought a sick lass!
I am having some encouraging results with chaga tea. If you have access to some to buy or forage I would certainly recommend it offered freely for drinking straight. I'm also big on probiotics to boost immunity and fresh garlic to flush parasites.
The chaga will also boost appetite allowing you to get nutrient dense foods into her easily.
Eye puss is remedied quickly with cannabis drops. Even dried chunky stuff.

EDIT: sorry I didn't realize I was reading an old thread and it this was past that point. I'm leaving the info posted for others.
