My pullets face is getting really red

My buffs orpingtons are about 14 weeks old , some of them are getting really red faces, why is this?

This happens as they get older. When their combs grow, their face and comb start to get red. This is normal and should happen gradually.

It means they are getting close to the age for laying eggs. Comb and face redden up. Its an indicator.

Yayyy she IS getting super fluffy too

It's normal, it just means they're growing up and getting closer to laying

Too young and not near red enough to be a sign of onset of lay.
But, yes, it's part of maturing.

Those pullets will drive ya nuts!
Skin will get pretty darn red with exertion, then go pale again a minute later.
One they actually get to point of lay you will be amazed at how red they get.
