My pullets started laying this week!

I am new as well and have 4; the final one finally laid this week. They still aren't consistent but its exciting to go out and find an egg or two and know which hen laid it.

I forgot to mention the ages of my birds. The first five are twenty weeks old. When I discovered my flock contained a lovely rooster ( we do love him and the girls do too! ) I ordered three more BsL 4 week old pullets. They are eight week younger and now almost 13 weeks old. The flock is fully integrated (long story but not a bad one) and I am starting preparation for my fall coop clean-out. My coop is pretty nice to be honest but it took a lot of hard work. More on that later in a new post about coops. Thanks forbthebwelcime everyone.
