I have 6 pullets, i believe they are red sex link and golden comets...but these are my first chicks, and I cannot remember what i was told.
My girls are about 16 weeks old and are free range chickens, and they range with 5 khaki campbells. Everyone seems very content and enjoy foraging through the acres that we own and even yesterday they were enjoying time with a deer!
My question is, my white chicks seem to be acting very strange for me. They seem to be wanting to peck at me, They have always followed me around (like running to follow me when i feed them) this past week, i will walk and they run after me and they are making low belly "clucking" noises. When i stop to turn to them they at that time look to peck me (none have yet to do so) my daughter in law did get a peck the other day at her toes!
I know this is rambling, but i dont know how else to explain it.
please help!!

If you have sex links and one of them is all white, it's a male.

Unfortunately if u have white chicks then they r probally roosters. red and gold sexlinks are red and gold girls and white boys.

I have second gen sex links which means the pullets and cockerels are the same color. The males were pretty obvious from 3 weeks on. at 5-6 weeks they had combs and wattles the size if the ones on your birds. I am not allowed to have roosters so I got rid of them at 9 weeks but I imagine by 16 weeks they would have had huge combs and wattles and yours don't look that different. From your red chickens. That's why I am wondering if maybe they are not sex links after all.
