Medication, for what? You don't know what's wrong with them.Medication is for ailments. You can't just give a bird medication if you don't know what's wrong.Well you can,but it's not going to solve your problem.Sorry if you think I'm being mean, but I am trying to help and you don't seem willing to give any info.I would not buy any more birds until you figure out what is going on!oh, i forgot. we also started the medicine in water today.
I agree with the live trap for the most part. I keep several set at all times. But if I catch anything, I would not be releasing it. It will be back, only now It knows what a trap is! Give said cat a fair trial. Take your trap and place it in a body of water.... If the cat is innocent of harrassing your birds, it will float! It's been my experiance that most are guilty thou! Bill
hope everything gets better and you figure things out. also if you have a roof on your quail cage i would put some mouse traps up there. i once seen a cat jump on the roof of my quail cage and it was looking down at the quail and pawing the side freaking the quail out. so i put mouse traps on there, next day 3 were snapped and never seen that cat since.LOL!!! its NOT funny! i totaly agree. i set a trap out last night, no cat yet, but finally the birds seemed fine this morning. down to 1 japaneze quial, it is starting to lose its feathers. in the other cage im down to 3 texas a&m quial... soooo stressed... got soo attached to all these birds...well i dont think we will ever give up..yes i think the 3 cats we saw already will be finding NEW homes, not anywhere around mine.
i REALLY appreciate all the advice and help from everyone!
i will let you know how we make out.
thanks again!
