After I am done feeding or giving treats, changing water or collecting eggs my girls are on the attack. They go right after my hand. Fly at my hand and peck.
I Have four girls in an extra large rabbit cage so they have room. They have a nice box and sand and a seed cake bar to go with their food mix. They get greens and oyster shells and even have a toy they ignore. -( I know they dont care about toys but I felt better giving it to them.) I even give them meal worms and acorn grubs .

So any reason why they dislike me. My boys are behaved.

Quail will attack if they feel territorial. If they have nests around with eggs in them, sometimes they will defend them by attacking you. To prevent being attacked, remove the eggs promptly. If that doesn't do it, remove the nest.

They can also attack if they are a bit loony. LOL I have had some male Bobs come after me, no matter the season, time of day or what I am doing. In my case, these boys had a few screws loose. LOL

I've heard that moving cage accessories around to change the environment can stop territorial behavior.
Usually it's been applied to quail bullying other quail, but it might work for quail trying to bully you, too!

Thank you everyone for the responces . The cage is pretty large. Its a x-large rabbit cage. I will go with loony. They want to eat my hand every time. I try to get the eggs as soon as possible. As soon as I hear them lay I get it

They may associate your hand with treats. I have a couple of hens that do that. They see my hand coming and they peck at me. They aren't attacking as much as being really excited that my hand is there. It's always the top of my hand, if I come at those hens palm up, they move away.

Another thing they do if I'm wearing my rings is peck at the ring or the nearby finger.

I have other hens that know that the red feed cup means food so they peck and the cup and sometimes my hand if I have the cup in it.

Roos are always sort of stand-offish.
