my quail hatched!!

i saw my quail hatch a couple seconds ago! i was starting to get concerned about him because he was taking longer than i wanted him to, when he started to unzip! i will post pics and videos when i can!

Could he have curled toe?
If he does will it straighten out or will I have to fix it?

Congratulations! I have this incubator too, my button quail are going into lockdown in 2 days. Did you find that filling the bottom with water like that gives the right amount of humidity? I've been trying to find a wide shallow container to use.

Well the humidity is a struggle for me for sure. I filled the bottom and it's working well for me, but it's really dry were I live.

Most times it straighten itself, wait till it is dry.

That looks fine. It will be running around before it's dry.

Thank you all. He is fluffy and stumbling around. Another hatched and is still in the bator but they will soon be friends!
