Okay i got these cute lil' buggers yesterday. Is this a good set up for now? Until i can get the pen finished?

Looks good!! What are they dust-bathing in? I'm new to quail and don't know what exactly to give my birds to roll in.

Another idea--I found my guys were mucking up their water in a bad way, so I put a water bottle (for hamsters etc.) on their cage and they took to it in no time! Also saves you from having to wash a poopy waterer twice a day...

another water method that isn't as clean as the water bottle method (but also cheaper than the water bottle method cuz some bottles are priceey) LOL!

ANywho a small tub of butter, ofcourse USE the butter lol, clean out the tub, take the lid off cut a coturnix head sized hole in the tub... put lid back on...fill up with water..and wala...coturnix can drink, and walk over it and can't get it as dirty as fast.

However in my experience it STILL needs wrinsed out everday because they DO manage to foul it up still
