My quails eye is bleeding...

so. This is still about that quail i have (her name is peaches) one of her eyes is swollen shut and her lower eye lid looks like there's a big lump underneath it. Earlier today i noticed that the swollen eye had blood around it and in it? her other eye opens occasionally, but otherwise it's closed most of the time. the eye that's not swollen doesn't have blood and isn't swelling and i've seen her eat by herself and drink by herself. i'll get some pictures tomorrow.

Yeah ... pics always help.

But on description I would guess pecking.
I saw it on my very aggressive Quail hens, (roos normally are going straight to the head) that they are most times aiming to the eyes.

I have one, which already blinded one eye of another hen and another one which blackeyed my very shy Celadon roo, within 10 mins leaving them alone.

But a pic would help to eliminate possible deseases.

i had a couple threads about her before. I'm giving her some human eye drops. They were working before, but now they aren't. bothe her eyes are closed but one of them opens sometimes so we go and give her feed and drink every 15/20 minutes. my phone died so i can't take pictures of her. i'll get some after it recharges.
