I heard them both crow for yesterday the first time !!
They aren't very loud, so it makes me wonder if they haven't been crowing for several months, and because they are quieter than the other roos, I haven't heard them.
Big John saw me coming with the feed and he stood right in front of the door to the coop and crowed two times in a row! Strut followed up with a short crow of his own, and that was it.
Then I guess he was feeling pretty proud of himself, so Big John decided to make it with a few of the ladies, which sent Pocket, my big buff orp into an uproar.
It was too funny!
