Who ever said that the rabbits dont have a shelter that they can go into??...
i'm assuming that the the rabbits live with the chickens in their shelter..so they DO have a shelter..

Proper shelter for rabbits is one that protects them from the elements and gets them out of the weather. (snow, wind, rain, etc)

Cute picture!

My big girl would love to run around on the ground, but we have way too many predators here to let her. She has a hutch with a house, but she almost never goes into it. She's a french lop too and I have not had any trouble with frostbite in the three years I have had her. I think your guys will be fine.

All the OP wanted was to share cute pictures of his rabbits in the snow! Thank you, they are very cute! I also have rabbits in the same run with my chickens. The rabbits have their own hutch they go into at night, but they also go in and out of the coop. At least I know they are getting plenty of water from the heated water bowl. People...just enjoy the pictures....no one asked for advice.

Fun thing about the internet: if you post pictures or information up, you don't get to hand pick the comments or advice that come your way.

If you chicken people saw someone keeping chickens in a small cage with some canaries, or in a half-full kiddie pool with some ducks, or knew of someone feeding their chickens rabbit pellets and hay and maybe sometimes some scratch, I'm hard-pressed to believe no one would bring up "Hey, maybe that isn't such a good idea."

But every week it seems like this comes up-rabbits living with chickens, eating chicken food, or something else involving a living breathing animal that is flat out a bad idea. And heaven forbid you worry! Or object! Or offer advice! Because it's rarely welcomed or followed, no matter how kindly it may be packaged.

So personally? I'm done giving advice. Sometimes I see things that worry me, but I've hit a point with this forum where trying to help people out isn't worth the frustration.

Enjoy your rabbits, OP.

We have tons of wild bunnies running around our place, they don't get fed, they do try steal scratch and get away with it most days.. they don't have nice shelters or anything else and they're just fine! (we had a blizzard 3 days over Christmas and near blizzard conditions today and tomorrow - and the bunnies still come out to check for scratch and take a drink from the ducks water bowls)

I think these little cuties look spoiled rotten! So cute I just wanna hug them!

there is a big difference in giving advice and being over bearing..
when people keep going and going...and dont stop and get threads shut down because of it..
then yes, it IS a problem.
The point is..its the OPs thread, they are her rabbits..and now its time to back off....
you see..its called having a social boundaries...and some people just dont seem to understand them. they keep pushing and pushing their beliefs onto others.. even when asked to stop..
