So sorry about your foot, jumping rabbits looks like fun! I had a rabbit once, a giant dutch lop, I think. It was given to me by a friend. It was black and white and quite large, but not much of a jumper... Now I have chickens and turkeys...

One of my clients is training a Holland Lop he got from us to Kaninhop. I'd only heard of it once before he started talking about it when we were discussing a baby. Pretty interesting sport!

Holland Lop and Dutch is the primary races jumper is used and self. mix. 
and it is definitely a very fun sport. Love the fact, that you can never force a rabbit to jump! So you know it's pure pleasure when they do jump - and it gives a unique relationship owner and rabbit between.

Cute rabbits! I do rabbit hopping with some of my rabbits, too, and really enjoy it (as do they). The athleticism and skill of hopping rabbits and handlers in Europe is amazing! Maybe we'll reach that level here in the United States someday.
