Hi Everyone!
Im new at this site so I thought I would post about my coop-in-progress to sort of introduce myself to the community. Pics will come soon! I lost my camera but I can borrow my sister's.
The base of my coop will be an old bunk-bed desk that isn't being used anymore. I found a pic online but I don't know how to post it. I sawed a hole in the side of one of the desk drawers to make a nest box that pulls out and made a ramp out of scrap wood. The entire thing will be made of recycled material except for the hardware cloth which I will buy new. I'm planning on putting 2 white leghorn hens in there for their egg-laying and heat-tolerance.
