My Red Star Hen has stopped laying eggs.

Because they eat less when it's hot to keep body temp down, they don't have as many calories to make eggs...my girls were off a bit during a recent spell of hot&humid weather. Now it's cooler I'm getting 12 eggs from 12 hens per day and they're eating a LOT more food...

i thought it was that but all of them at the same time?
i live in oregon and after the big winter strom this year thay laid like crazy. i had 60dz in my fridge. now nothing.

Rosie laid for me this morning!

So now I have two egg layers again! So happy! I am noticing a lot more feathers today around so I guess she is molting.
