My remaining chick is still doing well

I notice since I took the cardboard out of the pen the chick is now spending more time under the warmer so I think the cardboard could have been part of the problem. I'm so relieved the chick is doing well. I removed the cardboard and changed to plain water. I'm so relieved that my chicky is still alive and doing well. She likes to be held but I think that's because she's lonely. If she's still doing well in a few more days I might get a couple more chicks so she has some friends.
 
Little Chookus doesn't seem to pay any attention to the mirror. Maybe I need to move her crate where she gets a bit more sunshine than she gets now. I'm just very grateful that she's still doing well.
 
I tried the mirrior with any earlier hatch last year with serama chick, 1 hatched out of 18 eggs.
It was crying so much I guess even with the mirror it was still lonely and died. I did learn from it though.
