is the first one a rat snake?

the second one almost looks ilke a copperhead! LOL! Or maybe it's a young black (rat) snake i duno im just guessin here..either way i see it's working on a shed

LOL! My dogs we're rolling on a snake out in the yard and I saved it. It wasn't even harmed but It was gorgeous and I didn't know the breed so I took it to a pet store to ask. Kingsnake of some sort 'Black w/ yellow polka dots and a white tummy'. Well afterwards we went to Wallyburgs "Walmart" and I didn't want to leave it in the car because it was hot. So I wrapped this 3ft long snake around my wrist and walked in Walmart. No one noticed just thought it was a unusual bracelet prob even when I was sitting their unloading stuff outa the cart to the lady at the cash register. Though a woman did happen to notice at the carpet store we went too she screamed and ran as if was going to get her.

I love your rat snake. Gorgeous!!! I tend to have a thing for black snakes. I have a California Kingsnake but want the next one I get for myself to be a Mexican Black. Love, love, love snakies!!!
