My rhode island reds have almost no comb?

Hi I have three 12 1/2 week old RIR's and none of them have much of a comb at all. I've been looking at pictures of other 12 week olders and they all have a much bigger, redder comb. Theirs are sort of light pink and very very small. Thoughts?

Some Rhode Island Reds have rose combs, not single combs. Could that be it?

Pullets usually have smaller pinker combs. Maybe they are all pullets?

at that age they are probably pullets.
