My Rhode Island Reds

bluelucky,
I have 16 RIR that will be 2 weeks tomorrow. They look just like yours. I was looking at them tonight and 6 or 7 of them don't have tail feathers and the rest of them do. I'm thinking the ones with tail feathers are Roos and the ones without are hens.
But, I've also read that some breeds of roosters feather slower than the hens of the same breed. So what do you think?

I hope mine aren't Roo's , suppose to be all Pullets...

I think I've figured it out. The females are the ones with the tail feathers. They have very little combs if any. The ones with no tail feathers have a more pronounced comb. I've also read that female standard breed chicks feather out faster.
