My roo won't stop!!

How old is he? My boys have mellowed with age. That said, if you can figure out what triggers his crowing you might be able to eliminate some of it.
Hes youngish, not even a year old yet (maybe 6 months??). His girls - that we got at the same time - are still not laying eggs yet if that tells you anything.

Is there any lights on anywhere near his coop at night? Any light such as a neighbor's outside light? A nearby room light? If there is no lights around that he may see, does any of your neighbors have roosters that might be seeing a little bit of light? All it takes is one rooster to crow and you have a whole neighborhood of roosters crowing in the middle of the night. As far as crowing all day, any rooster will crow all day. You actually want a crowing rooster all day cause it lets you know that things are good on the farm.

Our guy starts anywhere between 4-5am and he doesn’t stop until their bedtime ‘last call’. Occasionally he will sound off again around 10-11pm. The misters like to sing the song of their people!

Good to know about the crowing during the day and yes there is a street light that he might be able to see as well as a bedroom light (coop is right behind the house). Ill see if I can throw up something to block the light and see if it helps. Thanks!!
