My rooster all of a sudden can't walk.

This is an older thread. The rooster I referred to was an older bird. He was a champion at a poultry show in the past. As far as layer feed given to roosters, high levels of calcium can be associated with kidney damage. As probably with some chicken owners, I can't gives my males one feed and my females other feeds but I do give the birds different feeds depending on the season such as breeding season to give the females and future chicks all of the advantages I can. There is always other feeds available such as All Flock.
