I noticed that my rooster (avatar pic) had this yellow mucus in his eye the other day. Past couple of nights he hadn't got up on the roost with the girls. Today he was hanging out by the house without his girls(they were off scavaging). I approached him and his sight seemed off, like he didn't know where to go and was confused. He ran into a potted plant and I picked him up because it seemed like I was stressing him out. I think he couldn't get away because he couldn't see(this is when I cleaned his eye off). I did notice some black specks on his wattles and comb, but thought the girls may be picking on him.
I went ahead and seperated him from the others. They are free-roaming.
He is almost a year old.
Is this possibly Fowl pox?
