X2I'm a little confused. By "coop," do you mean a fully enclosed wooden building made of wood, with a door that latches and/or locks? And by "run," do you mean a fenced enclosure, with or without a mesh or fence top? If your birds were in a coop, how did a predator get in to attack them? Or were they actually in a run?
In either case, I'm glad your hen survived and is improving.
