Thank you! It seems that he’s mounting them only when they let him & so far within a week the one he mounted lays their 1st egg. He’s very good with them. He does a dance around them & only mounts them if they bow. Otherwise he just leaves them be.He may have mounted her when you weren't looking.
Or he's not too aggressive so lets her be until she willingly submits.
A 'good' cock will not mount any pullet that is not ready to lay.
It can be a couple days or a couple weeks after squatting before you see an egg.
